Linnae swooped gracefully to a tree on the edge of the beautiful meadow where she sat waiting and preening her feathers as the sun rose. The cool morning was nice, unlike the hot days they had been getting until recently. It was going to get hotter later in the day, but that was okay. It wasn't too too bad, after all. She didn't mind all that much. But what she was really more worried about was a friend, or hopefully, a mate of some kind. The land was kind of empty, and the eagle could almost feel the loneliness. If only she had a friend. A family would be nice too. That came later, but still... she hoped someone else would come to the meadow too.

Since she was currently of neutral stance and a single hawk with no family or connections, the two other territories seemed rather foreboding, and Rouge wasn't sure what would happen if she flew passed the boundaries in search of a place to live, even though she was completely neutral in terms of her alliances. It would be best not to risk it - so instead, Rouge went to Hubert Meadow, and circled high in the sky a few times, using her hawk vision to scan for any sign of birds like her: both male and female. Not long after she spotted a shape in a tree, and lazily spiraled down and settled herself on a branch opposite the other female hawk.

The eagle used her eagle eye vision to scan the area every once in a while, and finally, she spotted another bird above heading towards her and her tree, who looked like a hawk. Linnae prepared to fly away just in case he or she was hostile, but this was a neutral land and violence in a meeting land was looked down upon. When the other bird landed on a branch opposite the one she sat on with no ill intentions, Linnae calmed down and hopped to a branch a little closer. "Hello!" she said cheerfully.

Rouge hopped from one foot to the other, adjusting her position on the branch in an attempt to get comfortable, shifting her folded wings a few times before settling down. As she did, Rouge cocked her head slightly to the side at the other bird's greeting and smiled softly - or as softly as a hawk could.
"Hello~" she replied just as softly, with a sing songy hint to her tone and making sure it was friendly - sometimes her mood affected how she interacted, and since she wanted to make friends, now wasn't the time to scare them away.
"How are you? What's your name?"
